Product Description

Quickly add form and flair to your landscape with this fast-growing hybrid. Though it is often seen as a multi-stemmed shrub, it is actually a small tree that grows up to 30' tall with a spread of 8-15'. In midsummer, the semi-evergreen foliage is covered in large, flat-cupped white blooms with yellow centers. These are highly ornamental flowers that have a camellia-like form and a sweet fragrance that lures butterflies to the area. Easy to grow in fertile, humus-rich soil, Mountain Gordlinia makes an outstanding privacy screen thanks to its thick foliage and petite form. Later in the fall, the leaves pick up bold red and orange highlights for a decorative autumnal look. Gordlinia grandiflora 'Sweet Tea'
