Plump clusters of bell-shaped florets emerge in mid to late spring in a coat of white, quickly turning blue with a thin rim of white around each floret. Narrow, grass-like foliage gives an added touch of bright color to the scene and makes a fine backdrop to the blue flowers. Highly fragrant, it lures butterflies and other beneficial polinators to the area. Fast growing and easy to care for, it is an exceptional choice for mass plantings, in borders, pots, rock gardens or woodland areas.
