A spectacular alternative to traditional Clematis, this small-flowered cultivar produces beautiful nodding, 1½" blossoms in a unique coloration that's sure to gain admirers during their long blooming period. From June to September, the hardy 6-9' vines produce flowers of light purple-red enhanced with sunny yellow insides and light tan edging for an even more dynamic appeal. Blooms appear on new, current year's growth. Prune gently in early spring. Prefers full sun, but a little shade is best in hot, sunny climates. Deer resistant. Zones 4-8. Ships in 2.5" pot.     One of the best clematis I grew. Though flowers are tiny they draw you in for a close view and you find they are so beautiful with a various hues within a small flower! xo
