An exquisite iris in stunning bicolor, Nelly Tardivier was named in memory of Madame Nelly Tardivier, former director of the Tuileries Garden at the Louvre. This luscious variety features nearly horizontal falls of deep amaranth pink, with borders that turn to a pleasing copper tone. The elegantly ruffled standards are a bright lilac. Those hues of cool purple and warm pink are nicely paired with prominent bronze–colored beards. The Nelly Tardivier iris doesn't skimp on blooms either, with an average of eleven flowers per plant.
