    Product Description

To the gardener looking for the latest and greatest plants, this truly brand–new variety is considered by peony experts to be the current best of the darker intersectional (Itoh) peonies. The blooms are highly unique for its kind, the petals can be exceptionally ruffled, notched, and highlighted by streaks of cream. As an Itoh, it'll have some of the best qualities of herbaceous and tree peonies combined. The abundant flowers are big and full, and the lush foliage stays attractive all–season long. Unlike herbaceous and tree peonies, Itohs have been reported to not attract ants. Itoh peonies, however, are generally pretty limited in supply and variety on the market. Seeing as this one is so very new, we're proud to even have some to present to you—it is exceptionally rare and highly prized. Paeonia itoh 'New Millennium'
