This new decorative variety bears massive, dinnerplate-sized—up to 8" across—blooms in a sizzling shade of bright orange. Layers of soft, quill-like petals create a fabulous starburst form that sits upright on 32" stems. An intensely hued variety, it looks amazing when planted in groups amid bright white or very dark perennials in a mixed garden. This dazzling dahlia is easy to grow, tolerant of many soil types and deer resistant. Dig tubers in fall, if you live in zones 3-6, and store them in a cool, dry place until next year.
