    Product Description

These unusual mauve bicolored flowers and their deeply colored veins are a work of art. The stripes across the sepals look as if they were painted by hand. It produces a large number of blooms throughout the season. Pernille Clematis looks amazing on an arch—like a long brush stroke of sheer floral color down the side. It's also striking in the mid-to-back border, growing on a tall obelisk or along the top of a fence. Clematis viticella 'Zo09113' PP27172

In our EZ Pruning Guide, this variety is in the GREEN pruning category. These Clematis bloom on new vines that emerge from the ground each year or stems from near the bottom of older vines. Prune hard in the spring and as often as you like to encourage reblooming and keep the plant as tidy as you like.
