Calla lilies are used in formal arrangements, and often wedding bouquets, because their flowers have such an elegant shape. Many calla lilies bear one single color on the spathe--we've all seen the classic white--but Picasso adds an unusual bicolor to the mix. The creamy tones blend to deep, rich purple at the center. It's all the sophisticated look you'd expect from a calla, with something unusual to merit a further look. Picasso is ideal for the vase. The strong, tall stems carry 5" flowers that are long-lasting indoors. It's also perfect for bringing a little class and color to a border, or bringing a soft, pretty contrast to the hard lines of a rock garden.
