Plum Gorgeous is one of the most vigorous varieties in the Vancouver series, supplying dramatic beauty through a long, plentiful season. The blooms are beautiful too, with rich, velvety color and a luminous sheen. Let it climb up a trellis for a bright vertical display of many, many flowers. Collectors keep an eye out for the Vancouver Clematis series, as they're difficult to find in the US. They're bred to be free flowering, but the modern, compact habits make it possible to feature them in container gardening. Clematis 'Plum Gorgeous'
