Princess Nadia Ajuga

This ajuga's colorway is truly outstanding. The variegated green and cream foliage takes on tones of rosy pink that are especially vibrant in spring, in partial shade. There are two, abundant flushes of bluish blooms—one in mid to late spring and one in late summer—that make the display all the more color packed. The habit is tight and compact, and when it's grown as a ground cover, it helps to suppress weeds. Keep it out of full sun, which can burn the leaves, but we like a little bit of sun on this cultivar because full shade makes the colors and variegation less intense.
