Product Description

An easygoing, decorative-type dahlia packed with purple coloring, Purple Taiheijo Dahlia mixes violet, wine, and magenta in a dinnerplate-size flower. Large, violet-red blooms open ten to twelve inches across, sprouting above a well-mounded and attractive three-foot-tall plant. The wide, twisting petals of this dahlia are arranged loosely, giving it a cool and casual look. This purple dahlia is quite generous with bloom time, opening from midsummer right up to autumn's first frost. Plant Taiheijo Dahlias in containers, borders, or your cutting garden. They attract pollinators and, like any good dinnerplate dahlia, work beautifully in cut arrangements or as a single bloom floated in a shallow bowl. Dahlia 'Purple Taiheijo'
