Keep rebloom strong with simple, proven stepsThese irises are hardy in Zones 3–9, perform best in full sun with well-drained soil, and are deer resistant and drought tolerant once established. Plant rhizomes at the soil surface, never buried. For better rebloom, remove spent stalks after spring bloom, use a low-nitrogen fertilizer, and keep moisture consistent through summer. Divide clumps every three to four years when centers crowd to maintain performance.
