Beautifully dissected foliage, showing off in stately green and plum-purple, lies behind the bright red, star-shaped flowers. You can expect dozens of branches to be packed with the trumpeting flowers which attract hummingbirds. The foliage of this weigela turns a bit more purple in full sun and is just as showy as the flowers. A bright red autumnal display makes this Weigela a three-season charmer.
