With such an outstanding blend of hues in its repertoire, it's easy to see why this new dahlia is destined to become a landscape favorite. Soft yellow, cactus-type blooms are tipped in bold orange to give a distinctive starburst effect… especially showy when displayed as a mass planting. Rising Sun's statuesque stems keep the uniquely beautiful flowers upright and visible, even at the back of a mixed border or bed. Cut a few to bring indoors and add them to a fresh arrangement for you or a friend to enjoy. Easy-to-grow dahlias are tolerant of many soil types and deer resistant. If you live in zones 3-6, dig tubers in fall and store in a cool, dry place til next year. Dahlia semicactus 'Rising Sun'
