Incredibly easy to grow, hellebores are often thought of as harbingers of spring, sprouting as early as February in some climates. Until recently, these shade-loving plants were delicate and diminutive in size. But with over 50 years of breeding in the United States, hellebores are taking on a new look. Searchlight hellebore, sometimes called King Yellow, is a prime example of this type of Lenten Rose, thanks to its flower size and height. This remarkable new variety is ready to wow you with beautiful blooms up to 4" across and a height of up to two feet tall—twice the size of traditional hellebores—and bold, bright color.
