The unique coloration makes a good contrast of light and dark colors, the golden highlights make each bloom positively glow. This is a new to the market Siberian iris, fresh from hybridization in Holland as part of the Peacock Butterfly Series. This series was created for excellent branching and bud count, so you can enjoy plenty of dramatically colored blooms. It is easy to grow, both deer and rabbits generally won't bother it. While most types of iris require very well–drained soil, this Siberian iris performs beautifully in moist soils. The rhizome multiplies, and a couple of years, you can divide the clump to increase your spread. Iris siberica 'Black Joker'Iris sibirica 'Black Joker'
