New growth opens in warm apricot and orange, shifts to vivid gold, and finally matures to bright green. And the show doesn’t stop after spring. With a little watering during dry spells, it will keep flushing fresh tangerine-colored growth all summer and into fall. In early spring, before the leaves emerge, small, bright pink flowers cover the branches—beckoning butterflies and early-arriving hummingbirds to your garden.
