    Product Description

A French variety bred in the late 19th century, Ville de Lyon features stunning crimson–edged flowers with substantial texture and a distinct pink bar on current year's growth. The red shades fade and change with time, making the bloom interesting in all stages. Its large vine can be grown on arches, pergolas, lamp posts or fences. The perfect companion Clematis, Ville de Lyon plays well with others, especially with climbing roses such as Pearly Gates. Clematis 'Ville de Lyon'

Ville de Lyon Clematis is in the GREEN pruning category. It blooms on old and new wood, so prune as often or as fully as you like to promote reblooming. See our EZ Pruning Guide for more information.
