Product Description

What is Winter Aconite? If you haven't tried these easy-to-plant bulbs for very early spring color, you're missing out. Honey-scented flowers break through melting snow and blanket the ground in a carpet of golden yellow. Diminutive flowers grow to a height of less than six inches, with upward-facing habit and six green-yellow petals on each bloom. A member of the buttercup family Ranunculaceae, Winter Aconite is native to European woodlands. These flowers naturalize easily through division and self-seeding. You'll have a full, lush groundcover in just a season or two. Divide in spring to control the spread once your aconite has filled in. Eranthis cilicica
