Viburnum offers color and interest throughout the growing seasons. Its fragrant blooms attract pollinators in the spring, and are followed by clusters of bright pink berries that deepen to dark pink before turning blue and purple-black. While the fruits aren't for human consumption, birds love them. To achieve a bumper crop of berries, plant another cultivar nearby. This shrub has shiny green foliage that turns maroon in the fall. A native to low woods and swamps, it can handle wet conditions better than other shrubs. It's a good choice for planting in borders or for screening. 4" pot. Viburnum nudum 'Winterthur'
