A cross between Iris pseudocorus and Iris ensata, Pseudata Iris have a unique form. Small, wide-spread standards give way to wide, near butterfly-shaped falls. This iris enjoys growing in moist soils, even in standing water! The bright yellow signal on Yarai Pseudata's yellow-gold falls is accented by its strong purple veining. An excellent border or specimen plant it also performs well in mass plantings and, of course, water gardens. Attracts hummingbirds and pollinators, plus it is deer and rabbit resistant. Be sure to gather some blooms for an inside bouquet! Iris pseudata 'Yarai'
