A happenstance discovery of this strange and beautiful, yet naturally-occuring, phenomenon brought this geometrical wonder to market. Unusual as it is, Zig Zag Redbud offers all of the beloved facets of your favorite redbud tree, and serves amazingly well as an understory tree or specimen planting. A variety of a native tree, this redbud performs without trouble in American landscapes. Deep fuschia flowers open from magenta buds in early spring, and bright green foliage fills the tree through the summer before transitioning to an attractive orange in fall.
