  • A unique cultivar bred in Holland
A hybrid bred in Holland, Clematis Fascination is cultivated from a very hardy Asian bell Clematis, combined with a large non–vining variety. The result is a wildly exciting bell Clematis with gorgeous, thick sepals.

Matte, deep–purple sepals frosted with white edges open in a gentle recurve. You'll enjoy the prolific flowering of Fascination as well as its form. Shaggy, wheaten–colored centers add even more texture to this enthralling Clematis. Fascination loves to sprawl, but won't mind being gently clipped in if you desire a more vertical flower display. Fascination is a non–vining Clematis but will grasp a structure, for a more vertical container or retaining wall display, if encouraged by gently clipping it up. This unique hybrid is always in limited supply, so don't miss out on these elegant and interesting purple bells. A medium plant with small flowers and lots of elegance. Clematis 'Fascination'

In our EZ Pruning Guide, this variety is in the GREEN pruning category. These Clematis bloom on new vines that emerge from the ground each year or stems from near the bottom of older vines. Prune hard in the spring and as often as you like to encourage reblooming and keep the plant as tidy as you like.
